Caden Marshall is a dynamic and versatile performer hailing from the city of Chicago. With over 15 years of stage experience, He has worked with a diverse range of theatre companies and boasts an impressive training background, including multiple acting and singing styles, guided by some of Chicago's most accomplished coaches, alongside dance training in advanced tap, ballet, jazz, ballroom, hip-hop, contemporary, latin, Russsian movement, and more,

Caden has achieved 2 Bachelor's degrees, one in American Sign Language Interpreting and the other in Musical Theatre. He has honed his craft and developed a niche for musical theatre performance, Deaf theatre, and social media. Caden wholeheartedly believes in inclusive spaces and works of art that represent historically underrepresented communities.

A passionate advocate for queer activism in theatre and a vocal supporter of Deaf arts, Caden is an artist who understands the power of theatrical storytelling to amplify marginalized voices.

He has teamed up with accomplished Deaf writer/director/Broadway actor Joshua Castille. Together they collaborate on writing, directing, acting, translations, and Deaf theatre projects.

Caden views education as a lifelong pursuit and this quest for knowledge has led him to delve into the lesser-known works of musical theatre, collecting data, identifying patterns, and using his influencer platform to discuss the state of theatre and to provide exposure to hidden gems of theatre under the handle "@TheMusicalDealer".

Caden’s contagious enthusiasm for new works enraptures his audience. He uses his platform to highlight those led by or highlighting marginalized voices and cutting-edge works that challenge traditional norms.

Beginnings…
Caden Marshall has been captivating audiences since the young age of 6 when he began performing with community theatre groups like CYT Chicago, Schaumburg Summer Theatre, and Overshadowed Productions. With an impressive total of 65 theatrical productions across Illinois under his belt by the time he finished high school, Caden's passion for the stage only continued to grow as he pursued his two bachelor's degrees from Columbia College Chicago. Graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2022, he has since worked with distinguished companies such as The Tectonic Theatre Project, PBS, and Hypernovas Productions. Caden is not only a seasoned performer, but also a respected expert who has provided valuable insight to theaters across the country.

Goals…
Caden hopes to get his hands dirty with his career. He aims to involve himself with groundbreaking theater works, to involve the Deaf community, to originate roles in new pieces of theatre, and most of all to work hand-in-hand with professional theatremakers around the world who are compassionate, inclusive, and inspired.
